FinaPrism offers a very comprehensive free version including: manual account tracking (up to 3 accounts), unlimited budgets and tags, charts, currency conversion (298+), and manual transaction categorization. The Premium version adds up to 100 accounts, automatic categorization, subscription detection, cash-flow forecast, custom categories, digital receipts, and PDF/spreadsheet export.
Yes, security is our top priority. FinaPrism encrypts data at rest with Halite/libsodium (public-key authenticated encryption X25519 + XSalsa20-Poly1305). All communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3. Sensitive data is stored in the iOS Keychain. Your financial data stays private: it is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.
No, we do not sell or share your personal or financial data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. The only transfers are to our technical subcontractor Google, strictly for providing the service: for categorization, transaction descriptions are transmitted; for statement or receipt import, the content of the document you import is transmitted in order to extract the transactions. This processing, which may involve a transfer outside the European Union, is covered by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses and/or EU-US Data Privacy Framework), in compliance with GDPR. No. FinaPrism never connects to your bank: your banking credentials never leave your bank. You add your transactions by importing a statement (PDF or CSV) or simply pasting text — FinaPrism extracts the transactions automatically — or by entering them manually. This is a deliberate choice to protect your privacy.
FinaPrism is available on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17.0 or later) and is optimized for all iOS screen sizes, including iPads.
Exchange rates are updated daily from reliable financial data sources. FinaPrism supports over 298 currencies, including all major currencies, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.), and precious metals. Rates are provided for informational purposes and may differ slightly from your bank's applied rates.
Yes, FinaPrism works offline for most features. You can check your balances, add transactions manually, manage your budgets, and view your charts without an internet connection. Synchronization happens automatically once you're back online. Only exchange rate updates require a connection.
Yes, the Premium version allows you to export your data in PDF and spreadsheet formats. These exports include your transaction history, budgets, charts, and financial reports. You can also export your raw data in CSV format. Exports are generated locally on your device to ensure data confidentiality.
All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. To cancel: open your iPhone/iPad Settings > tap your name at the top > Subscriptions > select FinaPrism > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to enjoy Premium features until that date.
