FinaPrism offers a very comprehensive free version: up to 3 accounts, unlimited budgets and tags, charts and analytics, net worth, savings goals, loan tracking, transfers, currency conversion (298+), widgets and sync across your devices. Premium adds up to 10 accounts, AI statement import, automatic categorization, receipts, subscription detection, cash-flow forecast and exports. Elite raises this to 30 accounts and adds everything about investing — securities accounts, automatic prices, market explorer — and household sharing, to manage your accounts together (up to 6 people).
One credit is one PDF page, one photo, screenshot or CSV, text or JSON file, one block of 2,000 characters of pasted text, or one receipt analysed on demand. Premium gives 50 a month, Elite 125, reset on the 1st of each month. Nothing rolls over and there is no top-up to buy: once the month is used, the counter starts again on the 1st. Attaching a receipt to a transaction costs no credit and involves no AI at all — only the analysis, which you request explicitly, costs one.
Household sharing is part of the Elite subscription. A household holds up to 6 people. You share the items of your choice, one at a time: an account, a budget, a savings goal, a shopping list, a category or a tag; a loan follows the sharing of the account it is linked to (and stays visible to the whole household if it was shared under the legacy setting, which its owner can turn off). Nothing is shared by default. For an account, a budget, a savings goal or a shopping list you also choose WITH WHOM, member by member: opening your current account to your partner does not show it to the other household members. The members you choose have access to the account's balance and its entire history, and can enter and edit transactions in it. You can stop sharing at any time: that prevents any further access, but does not erase what has already been seen.
Yes, security is our top priority. On our servers, data is encrypted at rest with Halite/libsodium (XChaCha20 + BLAKE2b authenticated encryption); on your device, it is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3 (TLS 1.2 minimum). Keys and sensitive data are stored in the iOS Keychain. Your financial data stays private: it is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.
No, we do not sell or share your personal or financial data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. The only transfers are to our technical processors, strictly for providing the service. Google receives: transaction descriptions, for categorization; the content of the documents you import (PDF or CSV statements, photos, screenshots, text or JSON files, pasted text), in order to extract the transactions; the content of the receipts you submit for analysis, together with the names of your custom categories; the wording, not yet known to our product catalogue, of an item on your shopping lists; the name you type for a bank that is not in our bank catalogue, so that its logo can be found. This processing, which may involve a transfer outside the European Union, is covered by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses and/or EU-US Data Privacy Framework), in compliance with GDPR. No. FinaPrism never connects to your bank: your banking credentials never leave your bank. You add your transactions by importing a statement (PDF, CSV, photo, screenshot, text or JSON file) or simply pasting text — FinaPrism extracts the transactions automatically — or by entering them manually. This is a deliberate choice to protect your privacy.
FinaPrism is an iPhone app, built for iOS 17.0 or later, and optimized for every iPhone screen size.
Exchange rates are updated daily from reliable financial data sources. FinaPrism supports over 298 currencies, including all major currencies, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.), and precious metals. Rates are provided for informational purposes and may differ slightly from your bank's applied rates.
Yes, FinaPrism works offline for most features. You can check your balances, add transactions manually, manage your budgets, and view your charts without an internet connection. Synchronization happens automatically once you're back online. A connection is, however, required to import documents, have receipts analysed and update security prices and exchange rates.
Yes, the Premium version allows you to export your data in PDF and spreadsheet formats. These exports include your transaction history, budgets, charts, and financial reports. You can also export your raw data in CSV format. Exports are generated locally on your device to ensure data confidentiality.
All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. To cancel: open your iPhone/iPad Settings > tap your name at the top > Subscriptions > select FinaPrism > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to enjoy Premium features until that date.
